Methods and limitations
Forty of the 44 lake and trail figures we gathered survived the source check, and every one traces to one of ten primary organisations. We excluded two conflicting lake-depth claims without a verified first measurement, a lake-area figure in winter promotional copy, and a duplicate lake-elevation figure. No attendance estimate, combined difficulty score or average route time is calculated here.
Our transcription is available for reuse with attribution under CC BY 4.0; the original publishers retain their rights to their own material.
The downloadable table contains fourteen route and segment records, including the Huble and Fründenhütte routes with the operator's closure warnings. A blank time means no estimate was supplied. Times expressed in hours are converted to minutes for sorting; distances and elevation measures retain their published scope. Blank CSV fields mean not supplied, never zero. Records from different publishers remain separate even when their route names resemble one another.
The winter profile gives mapped waypoint elevations, not a contemporary survey of the lake’s water level. The fishing sheet is a January 2024 reference, not confirmation of today’s fishing rules. Trail times are approximate and exclude your stops. Seasonal route references do not establish current opening, safe conditions or ice access. Check the operator’s live status before travel.
